My Life List
Submitted by georgiabirder on Mon, 08/24/2009 - 12:25.I have a life list of 170 birds. I live in Georgia so many of them are the species you would expect to see in this area. Many species on my life list are rare, such as the Red-cockaded Woodpecker. There are also many species that are not usually seen in georgia on my list.

Feed a Red-belled woodpecker?
Submitted by treeclimber on Mon, 12/22/2008 - 18:53.Hi: We have had a young red-bellied woodpecker screeching in our bradford pear trees for over 2 weeks. He is friendly, and allows my 7 yrold to get within 2 feet of him while climbing the trees...
He is drilling rows of holes in the trees... Is there anything we can feed this bird to vary his diet and calm the screeching?
What bird do you want to see most?
