| Description: | Seen from my office window. Cedar Waxwing: They came, they ate, they conquered! These darn birds were so neat to see and so elegantly plumed for the first few days. Then, they were here by the hundreds -- flying in large flocks, eating all the berries of the trees, and leaving every car parked beneath a tree in dire need of a wash. Their high pitch sqeaking can be annoying even from inside. But, they are a beautiful bird. Just wishing ther weren't sooo many of them. |

| Description: | A mature Bald Eagle swooped by my living room window near my bird feeder. I was able to watch it as is flew along the pine trees around our yard. I have seen them fly overhead in the past but never come so close to the ground or to the house as they did on this occasion. |
